Mahabubnagar Municipality Telangana

Mahabubnagar is the biggest district in the state of Telangana (telangana.gov.in) based on the area it covers, which is 18,432 square kilometers. It is also known as Palamoor. The town of Mahabubnagar, which is the headquarters of the district, was named after Mir Mahabub Ali Khan, who was the ruler of Hyderabad.

Mahabubnagar district is located between the latitudes of 16° and 17° North, and the longitudes of 77° and 79° East. To the north, it borders the Ranga Reddy and Nalgonda districts of Telangana. To the east, it borders Nalgonda district of Telangana and Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. To the south, it borders the Krishna and Tungabhadra rivers.
